UCAH Seminar Series: Malicious Talent Recruitment 101 by Mrs. Ceanna Madden

May 7 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Abstract:

With the academic field being the latest and greatest focus of malicious actors, researchers are being targeted from a variety of fronts. One of the most notable methods of targeting occurs through the use of malign talent recruitment programs. These programs seek to acquire research and technology from members of the academic and research community through unethical and unlawful practices. This presentation will provide an in-depth historical analysis of these programs, showing the impact that they have had and will maintain, should they continue to be successful.
