The eight video contest winners are featured on YouTube.

The video contest was created to garner interest in hypersonics from high school and university students. Students were asked to creatively address the following questions in a 2-minute video:

How do you think hypersonic flight could help humanity in the future?

What is one big challenge preventing hypersonic flight from becoming an everyday reality?

The ultimate goal of these competition is to foster opportunities for students interested in Hypersonics to delve deeper and continue a path towards sustaining and developing new Hypersonic technologies.

Over fifty high school and undergraduate students entered the contest. Universities represented in this competition are: University of Virginia, University of Tennessee Space Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology, Ohio State University, Florida A&M University, Florida State University, Purdue University and Missouri University of Science and Technology.
